Spot Prawns with Garlic Thyme butter

This recipe is easy, fast and simple.  You can substitute thyme with parsley, chives or dill for different variations.  - Jen

Serves 2

1 lb spot prawns (or 2 lbs spot prawn tails)
½ cup butter
2 cloves of pressed garlic
1 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme
Olive oil
Salt & pepper


  • Preheat oven to 425° F
  • Coat spot prawns with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Bake prawns for 2 minutes or until they turn red.
  • Melt butter in a sauce pan on low heat. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Turn off the stove and stir in fresh thyme.
  • Place cooked prawns on a plate and drizzle flavoured butter on top of prawns.
